Dr. Palchak has bachelors and master's degrees in biology from UC Irvine. He received his doctorate in medicine from St. Louis University, did a residency in internal medicine at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, then medical oncology fellowship at UC San Diego. He established an independent medical oncology practice in Arroyo Grande in 1994 and has practiced continuously in the south-county since that date. He established the region's first cancer research program, first tumor board, first nonprofit to expand services for cancer patients in our community among many other firsts.

Erick Hjortsvang MD
Dr. Hjortsvang is an alumni of the University of California, Santa Cruz. He received his doctorate in medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Hjortsvang is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine. He worked for 8-years at Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael California before moving to the south-county to join PCR Oncology in July of 2015.
Kimen Colgan PA
Kimen is entering her 20th year as a Physicians Assistant. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison PA program. Originally from Colorado, she maintains her love of the outdoors and everything the Central Coast offers. She loves hiking, mountain biking, backpacking and paddle boarding. She plays the guitar as long as she finds a song she can sing along with. Her two teenage children keep her busy and she would say they are her proudest achievement. She is very excited to join the PCR Oncology Team, where she hopes that the impact she has on patients is as important and rewarding as the impact patients have had on her.
